Spring Fling

Spring Break began at exactly 11:15 a.m. on April 2nd for the Buhrleys this year. Did it come in the nick of time? Were we looking forward to it? Were our bags packed and ready to go? Yes, yes, and YES!!! A quick getaway to St. George over Easter weekend was the correct remedy for our family of anxious, pale, sun-seeking members. We supported Zach in a baseball tournament (which was fun until we got spanked by a team from Idaho Falls), lounged around, shopped a little, and enjoyed our time away from home. What is it that makes being away from your house so dang enjoyable? The most fun we had, however, came on our drive back home. Our friends, the Karras', were in St. George for the week also, and invited us to stop by their home for a get-together. Ali, another friend, was there as well with her gorgeous children. It was so much fun to see them again. We got to visit, eat, and play in their traditional Easter Game Extravaganza.....football, soccer, kite flying etc. The kids LOVED that! And Kristin and I LOVED that neither Brook nor Nate had to visit the emergency room.

I was glad to see I hadn't missed out on to many of your posts while I dropped off the blogging world!! :) It's fun when you can plan a little family trip around kids sports! Sorry, about the Idaho Falls team. I guess those IF boys are tougher then they look!:)
