She understood at a very early age that they were all terms of endearment and that the speaker speaking them loved her. "Brynn" is just what someone calls you who doesn't know you all that well... your teacher, the nurse in the waiting room at the doctor's office, the census taker.Yes, we call her many things, but most importantly, we call her OURS.
We recently celebrated another birthday with Brynn. She's not quite the decade mark yet, but well on her way.
I can't believe our baby is NINE. Any day now she'll be walking through the door and telling us she's in love and getting married.Ok, so maybe not ANY day now; I'm being dramatic. But boy, time is flying by.
We were lucky enough to celebrate Brynn's birthday a number of times this year: grandparent outings, sleepovers, a family dinner, and a friend party at Color Me Mine in Provo (http://www.provo.colormemine.com/ .... HIGHLY recommend it).

We just love Brynn. She brings so much happiness and noise to our house. With her around, there's always a handstand to dodge, a craft area to tidy, and a little head to hang a sparkly hat on.
1) She keeps us honest. 2) She keeps things going. There's always a party when she's around. 3) She's the protector of traditions such as Family Home Evening and Gingerbread Houses. 4) She sings and sings and sings 5) She can put her siblings in their places 6) She loves school and her teacher. 7) She's a good snuggler 8) Her smile 9) She shows her love for us, her family, in many different ways.
I hope she enjoyed her birthday week, because I know I did. We're just so glad she's ours.

Brynn is still so dang cute! I remember watching her as she came into Primary each Sunday not only to see what cute dress she would be wearing, but eager to hear what hilarious comment she would blurt out. And I think she was only 3 or 4 years old back then. Wow, she is growing up. I'm glad she is still pretty "spirited". I hope she always will be.
Uh...wait just a minute! That first photo...that's the Brynn I remember! Who said she could go and grow up? Lucky she's grown up to be such a darling girl. What a fun birthday post and what a cute tribute to your beautiful baby girl.
Oh my gosh that was so sweet!!!!!!! That first picture of her when she was tiny is so cute and I gotta say the whole post brought a little tear to my eye! Happy Birthday Brynn!!!!!
What a sweet post with adorable pictures. You can tell she just lights up a room where ever she goes. "Nine is Fine"! Now, tell her to STOP growing. Cute, cute, cute.

Looks cold doesn't it? It is! I am hoping to get out to Utah this summer with the kid's for a long vacation. We haven't been back since 2006. Are you teaching? How is your year going? Let's keep in touch okay? Oh, our baby is almost seven. Those last ones keep you hopping don't they?
